PDF tools

Merge PDFs

Open the app → choose Merge → select two or more PDFs → reorder if needed → save. Processing happens on your device.

Sign a document

Open a PDF → tap Sign → draw or pick a saved signature → place it on the page → save a copy.

Scan to PDF

From Home, open Scan to PDF → capture pages with your camera → adjust and save as a PDF.

Premium & billing

Upgrade to Premium

Open Settings or the Premium screen → choose Monthly or Yearly → complete checkout in Google Play. Prices are shown in ZAR in the app.

Cancel or manage subscription

Subscriptions are billed through Google Play. Go to Google Play → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Avelix PDF → Cancel. You can also open Account in the app for a shortcut.

Restore purchases

Sign in with the same Google account used to subscribe, then open Premium in Settings. Google Play restores active subscriptions automatically.

Security

App lock

Settings → enable App lock → use fingerprint, face unlock, or your device PIN/pattern when opening the app.

AI Assistant

Using AI safely

The AI tab sends extracted text (not full file uploads) to a cloud provider to answer questions. Do not use it with highly confidential documents unless you accept that processing. See our Privacy Policy.

Common questions

Standard PDF tools (merge, split, sign, compress, etc.) run locally on your phone. Files are not uploaded to our servers for those features.
Free includes 3 conversions, OCR runs, or edits per day, files up to 50 MB, ads, and a small watermark on exports. See the plan comparison on the homepage.
Yes. Viewing, merging, signing, watermarking, and most PDF tools work offline. Sign-in, Premium billing, and the AI Assistant need internet.
